Week Three - Progess in the MTC

My stomach is better now. I’m eating pretty well now and back to normal - so that’s always good. My district is awesome. We keep getting closer and closer, like I know I will see these guys after the mission. We just all go off each other and everybody brings something to the table.

The language is coming slowly but surely. I definitely am learning and can talk, which is sweet. They teach you more about the gospel Spanish and I think they send you out to learn like the other stuff. The grammar is tough, like conjugations, but I’m glad I took Spanish in high school, it definitely helped. I just have to push myself - sometimes I get complacent. The temple was really cool - we did it in English until the end when we did it in Spanish. The celestial room was so cool. I was just looking up and the Spirit was so strong it was crazy - that’s a House of the Lord.

We don’t get outside the walls but we get to go proselyting Saturday which should be cool. I’m tired all the time but I’m happy all the time too. I miss Miles so much and wish I could see the baby. It’s weird that it’s already been three weeks it goes by so fast like I wake up do stuff then go to bed and every time I turn out the lights I’m like wow it’s been another day.

I love you guys a ton. I’m loving it it’s tough but I’m growing and can feel the spirit. It’s awesome the experiences you can have.

PS there was an earthquake the other day - it was so cool. Not very powerful, but we felt it.

Week Two - Pictures!

This week was awesome. The language is getting better but that’s a time thing like you said. Me and my companion are awesome – he’s real serious but I’m really good at lightening the mood when we need to. We teach really well together which is good. You can feel the Spirit and that’s all that matters. Elder Whitehead is still good he just studies so hard.

Waking up has been tough for me but I get by - I just have my district leader come wake me up – it’s great. Our district is tight - it’s really cool how we all just love each other (I sent some pics). I don’t feel worried or like nervous to be out here just scared that I don’t know enough - you know. It’s weird they thought I was like this quiet kid and after that teaching experience it’s like a hurricane hit them. We just all get along and its crazy how the companionships have worked. I know certain people were supposed to be with others. We really don’t go outside the walls so I don’t have a lot of pictures of the landscape and stuff but its super pretty here.

I bet having the baby is so awesome in the house. How’re Alex and Liz doing? I felt like this week flew by! It’s crazy that I have 16 hour days now but I feel like I never have enough time in my day. It’s tough but I’m happy. It’s weird.

That’s sad about Yvonne. I know Marisa doesn’t like talking about it too much but she’s a strong girl.

I love you guys so much - I always think about you. I wish I had some pictures but I got some mental ones so I’m good hope everything’s great. Keep sending those baby pics I can see them - she’s so cute I wish I could hold her. Tell teh boys to email me.
