My holiday was good we bought a couple of fireworks but
nothing crazy week had to be in bed so we couldn’t do much. They make dolls
here and like set them on fire at midnight so we made one of elder Guit, Elder
Jackson’s old companion and were gonna burn it today lol. We went out for a
little but we decided just to go to sleep. It’s crazy here though they just
sell stuff all day and the night was even crazier there were so many people in
the streets and stuff it was crazy.
My week was good. We kinda had to get back
to the grind and get out there and find more people and stuff. One cool thing
that happened was we fasted and the marriage papers for one of our investigators
came in to where hoping for the 20th of January to marry them. Crazy how fast
it works sometimes.
I miss you guys tons but I’m doing good. Everybody is a
little trunky from talking to their families, but we’re all great. The new Elder
(Elder Gemin) for Elder Jackson is really fun, just a small guy from Piura,
Peru. Nothing really crazy this week. We are gonna ride bikes in a “chakara”
today so that should be sweet. I’m having so much fun and having experiences
out here so I’m doing great.
